With over three decades of dedicated service to our nation and community, Monty Huber is ready to lead as your Sheriff. Monty began his career by serving 12 honorable years in the US Army, where he developed a strong foundation in leadership, discipline, and a commitment to protecting others. As a Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Drill Sergeant, and leadership instructor, he honed skills in quick thinking, teaching and training others, and caring for those he was responsible for. Following his military service, Monty transitioned seamlessly into a career in law enforcement, bringing his dedication to public service home to Franklin County. For over 20 years, he has served as Deputy, Sergeant, Captain, Commander, and Undersheriff.
